Treatments

Dry eye syndrome is usually a chronic condition, without a definitive cure. The symptoms, however, are treatable.

Environmental

Controlling environmental conditions will help to decrease the symptoms experienced. These include avoiding drafty areas, and excessively hot, dry areas. The use of humidifiers is advisable, as they will add valuable moisture to the air. Wrap-around glasses may also help to decrease the symptoms of dry eye.  TOP
